Kings Island Review

Jul. 29th, 2008 | 03:37 pm

Yesterday was WiL and I's third wedding anniversary. We decided last week that we'd head out to Kings Island for the day since we both love rollercoasters so much AND it was only three hours away. To keep things in perspective - I've never been on anything bigger then what they have at Indiana Beach - my family didn't get out much.

Here's a review for the ones we had time to go on.

Vortex: Scary as hell for me. Wil went on this one twice - I sat out for the second time. I can only deal with going upside down so many times.

The Beast: Rode this 3 times. Longest wooden roller coaster in the world and incredibly fun. I have the most fun on the coasters that don't spend all their time flipping you around - I'm all about speed and this one definately has speed.

Invertigo: The scariest one for me. The suspended roller coasters scare the living shit out of me, add going around in circles and that spells trouble. This was the only ride that when I got up I really regretted getting on. But afterwards I didn't regret it much at all - it's always fun to get the piss scared out of you! And if I didn't ride a ride that I was really uncomfortable with - then the trip was a failure as far as I'm concerned!

Flight of Fear: Holy awesome. I loved this ride so much. We had a couple of inversions on this ride, but it was in complete darkness so I didn't get as motion sick as I would otherwise. Add to the fact that it was linear induction coaster AND is air conditioned.... well. This one and The Beast are having a huge toss up as to which one was my favorite.

The Racer: This one looks piddly. I thought it'd be a an easyride. Well looks are decieving - this coaster was soooo fast. It's an old wooden one so it really tosses you around. Looks innocent but isn't.

Flight Deck: Rode this right after lunch. It was pretty intense but it was a good after lunch one for me. It was really fun and a little more tame then the others - at least it seemed that way to me.

Adventure Express: A pretty tame coaster mainly designed for people to ride with kids. This was also right after lunch. The scenery and track for it was really fun. I liked it.

We were really disappointed that Son of The Beast and The Crypt were closed. The line for the Firehawk was an hour long so we skipped that one this time. Overall an awesome anniversary <3 Though I'm definately sore in the back and neck from that one!!

I am butthurt by the severe amount data entry I have to do tonight. I wish people would stop BREAKING THE LAW.

In other news, I don't have to go to work tomorrow because it's election day.... I LOVE WORKING FOR THE GOVERNMENT.

Also if anyone wants to keep me company at work, I'm on gmail messenger. Just open your gmail account and on the left hand side there should be a messenger thingie - my email is lovelovekitty AT gmail.com

If i get random scary people messaging me it will be AWESOME.

But i am alwasy alone at work and severely lonely. EMOEMOEMOEMO

So I finally got around to finishing Princess Tutu.

WHAT THE FUCK

That ending can go to hell.

I watched the whole second part of the series just to see if I could get some AxF action AND YOU DENY ME. YOU DENY ME. YOU BASTARDS.

I'm going to skip a class today just to pout about this.

I'm in my business english class.

It's really boring.

Neeners and Feisty are fighting again. It's getting really annoying. We keep locking Neeners in the laundry everytime she starts picking on Feisty but it only serves to make her fifty million more times annoying to us (she acts all attention starved) and she just keeps attacking Feisty. We need to get her fixed.

Life is really boring at the moment. If anything interesting happens I will be sure to let everyone know.

Real entry

Sep. 18th, 2007 | 09:01 pm

KUDOS to Emory for reminding me.

He wins this game.

Nothing much is going on right now.. just classes and work. I hate working in the evenings because nobody is there and it's incredibly lonely. I feel like I can't get anything done without people around me.

So it's back to the same old, same old. I miss how it was during summer. I'm glad this is my last year in school.

In case you were wondering... here's my doll update.

Cora - Limhwa Half-Elf

Cora is my baaaby at the moment. I love her so much... she's seriously the best doll ever!!

Locke - Dream of Doll Camine

Locke... I wasn't supposed to get until after New Years.. but there was an opportunity and I couldn't pass it up!! He's gorgeous and I love him to pieces <3

Witten - Pipos Pink Baha

Witten is entirely Emory's fault.. he got here around my birthday so he's my birthday kitty!!

Eden - Dream of Doll Shall

And everyone has already met Eden... I looove her.

So yeah - not much going on.

And I'm still waiting on my Limhwa girl ;-; she needs to get here before we go to the lake at the end of the month to visit with Liz so she can do her faceup >.> and so she can carouse with the other dollies in me and Liz's one big house :3

Weee! Alot of doll stuff

Jul. 30th, 2007 | 12:39 pm

Liz came to visit all last week... we had so much fun!!

Liz is the bestest <3

WiL and mine 2nd wedding anniversary was on Saturday, we are waiting to celebrate really until I get paid on the 6th. But WiL still took me and Liz out to steak and shake, and we took our dolls and the waiter was really funny.

He was like "Five at the table tonight?" and we laughed, and WiL said "Yeah do you have any kids menus??" We took Liz's Kid delfs, Jani and Wolf.

Liz delivered my DOD Shall to me when she first got here last monday.. she worked on her faceup all week.. and holy cow she is GORGEOUS! Liz always does the best work.. nobody else is allowed to touch my dolls' faces.

Anyway this shall is definately my Eden - my DZ Cherry was just too evil looking and lean and lanky. You can look forward to photos soon, probably tonight even :D

Still waiting for my Limhwa Half-Elf... it's four of six weeks so only two more weeks to go!!

Anyway we are going to go visit Liz the end of August, we might be going to stay at the lake with her and her dad or maybe just her :D Either way it'll be tons of fun.

So yes that's where I've been - and now i'm back to the grindstone.. .bLEGGH

Hahaha

Just to CLEAR UP THE CONFUSION.

I am NOT pregnant. If I was I would NOT be happy about it! hahaha

Surprisingly - that last entry was the entry that got the most comments from the most people! Maybe I should make more mystery postings from now on!

Now for the good news you've all been waiting for...

I've been promoted at my job!! Yes indeed, I'm not going to elaborate on it just yet - but just know that their is a prestige increase and a pay increase (a whole dollar!!) to go with it!!

And I just sent out the invoice for my DZ Cherry I was desperately trying to sell. I am soo glad she's going to a good home!

Thanks for commenting though everyone - it makes me feel loved!! :D

If you know anyone that's looking please let them know.. thanks! If she's not gone in about a week I'm putting her on ebay.

Probation is taking me and I might even end up working with some clients! Eeep! I'm very excited.

It'll be a fun break from the montony of letters and alerts I'm used to while dealing with the justice system. I go over there for an hour and a half everyday after I work.

It's gonna be freaking raaad.

Whoaa

Jun. 6th, 2007 | 09:01 pm

Just about everyone I care about is having problems.

I wish I could just solve everyone's problems and it bothers me when my hands are tied and there is nothing I can do.

It also doesn't help that I'm in some crazy kind of funk.

I have an appointment with Probation tomorrow to see about getting my other school-required volunteer experience done with them - i'm a bit nervous, probation officers are intense by nature.

And now WiL is sleeping and i'm all alone

about time

Jun. 3rd, 2007 | 01:58 pm

So it's been a few weeks and I said I'd show pics of our new car so here they are.

That's the new car - we call her Professor Plum. And it is a she - since we already have a distinctly male car. That's WiL's arm getting out of it.

home

May. 21st, 2007 | 02:26 pm

We are officially home as of last night after 1700 miles of driving from UT to IN....

oh yeah - WITH OUR NEW CAR.

WiL's parents gave us his grandma's purple toyota corolla. They upgraded a bunch of stuff in it (including an almost 300 dollar stereo) and then just gave it to us.

JUST GAVE IT TO US.

WiL's parents are unbelievably generous to us. We are so appreciative of everything they do for us, and this ia mighty kingly gift they gave to us!!!!

Pictures on the way don't worry.
But we finally have working air conditioning in the car again YAAY

Also they sent us home with like a hundred or so pounds of canned food and treats - we can eat for like a month!!!!

WiL's mom is always such an inspiration to me everytime I see her - her house is always so nice and clean and well taken care of and she cooks dinner like EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. I'm going to work hard this summer to get my house in order.

We get to go get the cats and birdie back today from my parents - I MISS THEM SO MUCH I CAN"T WAIT TO SEE THEM!!!

So yes I am home - which means a number of things.

If you've been desperately trying to get ahold of me you can. If you are sending me something in the mail you may now resume sending since I'm here to make sure no one steals any delicious looking envelopes out of my mailbox.

I am so glad to be home!! More on the road trip later...

stuff

May. 17th, 2007 | 01:49 pm

So we're in Utah at the moment. So far the trip has been interesting - i've been sick with a cough so that's been pretty icky. New Mexico was teh worst because it was super dry and dusty and really messed up my lungs.

UT is great and I have the best in-laws ever.

I'll update more when I have more time!!

P.S. I cut my hair really short and it looks pretty good and it's alot cooler (really important since i'll be walking home from work three days a week and it's going to be getting really hot really soon) and I hope it will give those spots on my head time to heal (My hair was so thick and heavy it messed up my scalp and caused it to bleed some and have some sores on it ICK). I'm also hoping it'll help my frequent headaches which I THINK are attribuated to having my hair ina ponytail all the time.

WiL likes it too. :D

After this short cut though I'm letting it grow back to long - and when i get sick of long I'll donate to locks of love and start this process over again (as seems to be my cycle of haircutting).
